    Following the death of the 16-year-old hockey player, Kyle Fundytus, officials and other concerned individuals started to have a debate on the safety and protection of players to avoid sports-related injuries and deaths in hockey. Though, accidents in hockey matches happen in rare cases, people are still alarmed with the possibility that it may happen again when not given proper attention.
