    They're 4-0 on their mid-country/east coast trips. I think that validates them. Also, you don't go 7-1 just by being lucky every week.

    I love watching their running game. Harbaugh does some pretty creative shit with personnel and blocking schemes.

    Several coaches including O & D coordinators have links to the Panthers. That's probably because they were all available.

    They would be really good if they would use their all pro fucking tight end. What a fucking waste.

    Davis caught 13 TD's in 2009 and the 49ers missed the playoffs. Harbaugh has them doing the little things right. That's a big reason why they're 7-1.

    They're solid, but they're not great and I'm not convinced that they're even "very good." They haven't played any of the top NFC teams, as Philadelphia & Dallas haven't been as good as expected, while I thought Tampa Bay would get exposed this season. The win in Detroit was impressive, but the Lions can't run or stop the run. The remaining schedule continues to be weak, so I'm guessing San Francisco ends up with the #2 seed and then gets "upset" in their first playoff game.

    They're 3rd in the NFL in net point differential. They're 7-1. It tough to make a case against them as the 2nd best team in the NFC. New Orleans might be more "dangerous", but they lost to the fuckin Rams.
