    He didn't do himself any favors yesterday with the live spots/access interview on the NFL network yesterday either. The camera doesn't like him very much. He comes off as such a pompus jerk who loves him some him, and how every problem he's ever had- on one hand he 'might have handled better', while on the other being someone elses' fault. Especially with respect to the media. I would be shocked if ever plays again, tho if he does, it will be totally out of necessity. He coulda been one of the best of all time, instead of only a jerk me-me player with good career stats.

    I don't know if it's sadder that he held his workout and nobody showed up or that every time I turned on ESPN yesterday, they were talking about it and blasting all of the teams for not snatching him up...they can't believe that a great talent like T.O. isn't playing somewhere.

    Maybe Minnesota will pick him up so he can play with McNabb. I guess Ponder would have to get hurt first though.

    Well, sort of.

    One day after 37-year-old wide receiver Terrell Owens staged a reality-TV style workout for TV cameras — but no NFL scouts — in hopes of drumming up potential offers from interested teams, his first contract proposal has arrived ... from the Arena Football League.

    The AFL\'s Chicago Rush announced via press release that it is extending an offer to Owens, a six-time NFL Pro Bowl wideout, for the 2012 season. The contract would be for the normal player agreement and pay $400 per week.

    \"We feel that this is an ideal time to approach the future NFL Hall of Famer,\" said Rush General Manager and President Gene Nudo. \"It would be a fantastic honor to add Terrell to our current roster for the 2012 season.\"

    Owens, who has been rehabbing from ACL surgery since injuring his knee in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns last season, and his agent Drew Rosenhaus held a public workout on Tuesday in Calabasas, Calif., to help show T.O.\'s progress.

    However, not one NFL scout showed up for the nationally-televised event.
