I just heard one of the guys suggest, John Fox should call Urban Meyer and incorporate some of the Gator playbook in Denver! :lach:

Not a bad idea, really. Vince Young was successful in Tennessee partially because Heimerdinger did such a good job of matching the scheme to his talents, while Chudzinski has made Cam's transition a lot easier by using a lot of the spread. Tebow is a smart kid who makes good decisions with the football and will give maximum effort. He's never going to be a very accurate passer, but he can get the job done and move the chains. It kind of bugs me that the only reason he gets so much crap is his skin color. No NFL analyst would get away with talking about Tebow the way they do if he was black.

I agree, but Fox isn't going to implement an offense that isn't 3yds and a cloud of dust.

Remember how Henning's offense looked in Miami after leaving...

Tebow kind of suits that style.

wildcat aside there wasn't exactly a lot of innovation. Dan's probably better than he was here many times because of Fox but his Coryell is still limited comparatively, and focuses on one player in an offense known to spread the focus.

We ran the wildcat when he was here as well, but we never threw out of it. Hell, I still don't believe we've thrown out of the wildcat. I just don't see Fox putting much effort into Tebow. To be honest, I don't remember much about the Gators under Meyer. I remember they ran lots of screens with exceptional speed and a great defense.

No big deal, but I seem to remember DW throwing a pass or two. Now, completing one? Maybe not.

I don't see a passing attempt for him. In the time he's been here, receivers Keyshawn Johnson, Brandon Lafell, and Armanti Edwards have thrown balls. To finish that thought, Foster did in 05, Proehl and Smith (!) in 04, Sauerbrun in 03, Dee Brown in 02, Huntley in 01, Ken Walter in 00, Walter and Floyd in 98, then 95 had Vince Workman and Eric Guliford (twice actually).
