It is what it is. Last year the defense was the strength. Now they have been gutted by injuries. Offense is better, hell it had to be better without Jeff Davidson. The Panthers will probably get 4-5 wins and will still draft around 10. Here's hoping we can get a stud DT to put in the rotation and a CB along with depth all over

We won half the games we should've, and been competitive in the two that should have been blowouts. Overall it's been a surprise.

I agree. Despite the mistakes we've been in the games. Big difference from last year.

Entertaining, which is definitely a change. What worries me is that, despite what Brian Billick said about the benefit of having Cam throw 50 times a game, having him throw often while indulging in bad habits is only going to make it harder for him to break those habits in the future. Newton has to, has to, has to be taught to step into his throws. That back foot shit is killing his accuracy, leaving his receivers open to big hits, and giving the defense lots of opportunities for interceptions. He needs to be practicing his passes with proper technique, not just winging it like he's on a playground.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the team. I said before the season that 2011 was a lost cause and I just wanted to see some improvement towards being competitive in 2012, and there have certainly been flashes of that.

Considering we are not pissing in the wind with Jake Delhomme as our only option and John Fox playing for the field goal and the punt,,,,,,,,, I am about as tickled as one can be with a 1-3 record. I agree with whoever said we have at least been competitive in 2 games that we normally got blown out in. I think theres definitely hope.
