Connor's decent, but his lack of speed worries me.

Does anyone besides me think a better fit for him might be LILB in a 3-4?

his speed is the same as Anderson and Beason's. He might not have the overall athleticism but he doesn't have to be on the field all three downs and he blitzes well.

Don't get Lester Towns thing. Williams has more athleticism, freelances a bit more.

Im pretty comfortable with Conner starting. He's better than any street MLB FA out there (Crowder,Tatupu) He's very good vs the run between the tackles but is def a liablility vs the pass. Might not play very much this week since Rodgers will spread us out...to the max!!

despite having solid linebacker corp we can never seem to get the best three on the field at the same time for any length of time.....

So did Towns, which was my point. Towns was a wildman who could blow things up and blitzed well, but didn't do the best job of staying within scheme and had no value in coverage.

in that respect, maybe. He was also built like a brick and Williams is physically different.

What in the hell happened to him? He was a beast a few years back, and while he's been in the league a few years he isn't exactly old.
