    Arizona constantly blitzing Cam was idiotic. Zone blitzing will be more effective, but the best thing you can do against Newton is to drop back in coverage and make him read progressions, since that's something he can't do yet.

    I want to see if he's savvy enough to use his legs to force spy coverage to help him on his learning curve. If he does this enough it will at least open up the middle and flat areas and most likely on play action

    Good point. I imagine a LB in a shallow middle zone would be a way to spy while also helping out against the TEs crossing the formation.

    As severely critical as I was about Smitty's brawling with teammates, I have to admit I'd take great joy in watching him give T.O. a beat down.
