    Steve had a great day today...however he needs to SHUT UP. I'm surprised he wasn't flagged wiht that trash talk ALL DAY to Peterson and anyone else around him. Shut up and play Steve. Jeez.

    I'll put up with any penalties. I agree that trash talk is part of his game, and I'd much rather see that than the moping bullshit he showed through sixteen last season.

    As long as he isn't beating up his own team, I like the Steve Smith we had yesterday. He is the one player that can help Newton stay in the game mentally.

    Exactly. So long as he doesn't go prompt stupid and beat someone up I can live with the jawing. Besides if the other player doesn't like it he ought to step up and make a play
