so then we agree that by definition guys like Jenkins aren't 'gettable' and this is all pointless

Not in the slightest, but kudos for taking a compliment and being a dick about it because you're such a bitter woman. Jenkins would rather sign with Philadelphia than Cincinnati or Carolina for even money, or even a little more money, but that's why I added 20% on top. A 20% increase is a hell of a lot of money. It's still incredibly frustrating that someone as smart and knowledgeable as you is too much of a homer to admit that Hurney completely fucked up this free agency period.

I was simply making you acknowledge it. Jenkins doubtfully went to Philly for a few thousand a year less. He didn't likely turn it down for a mil a year less. I don't remember now, outside him distinctly saying he wanted to go to Philadelphia a lot more than he wanted a bigger contract. Which, I don't know, seems to go against your very basic "add a sheckle or two and they'll come running" philosophy. And Braylon Edwards, Santana Moss, I guess that's worth skipping over, too.

Smith said on radio we went after Holmes, Floyd, others. Clearly, outside the idea that other teams could easily match 20%, it's also clear we had much greater success in finishing contacts inhouse ryan in the market. Plenty pf things we likely reattempted that we couldn't have just thrown 20% more money toward.

fun irony: Charles Johnson received 20% more than Collin initially suggested he should. That isn't the point he was tring to make, certainly, but funny on this context of whether 20% closes the deal.

Collin, I have to chime in with some “honesty” and point out to you how hilarious it is that you accuse some other guy of being a woman. Any married man on this board is likely to know how a great many women argue and you sir are the prototype for how those women “fight”. They deny the logic of others by smothering it with their own delusion. When cornered they can brilliantly twist an accusation back on it's accuser. They don't forget past wounds and they can not let go of something that bothers them. They hold grudges, and they are usually too fragile to accept blame or apologize themselves. They might however make a concession or confession if it benefits them somehow and they feel that they can still “not lose the fight” by tossing in a little bone.

. .. sound familiar??? If any guy on this forum closely represents a bitter woman it's you Collin.

    YOU GO GIRL!!!

You equating a 20% increase in someone's annual salary with "a sheckle or two" is another example of you being a dishonest piece of shit.

Great, so the moron who has consistently embarrassed himself on this forum by posting one indefensibly idiotic thing after another is trying to lecture me. I'm the one who posts contract figures, statistics, and other facts to back up what I'm saying. And let's not overlook that in these arguments over the last decade I have been proven right time and time and time again. Search back for the way people used to blast me for criticizing Delhomme. I'm also the one who admits when I actually am wrong, whereas magnus spends six years refusing to acknowledge that he screwed up when he said before the 2005 draft that Shawne Merriman couldn't play linebacker in the NFL. Meanwhile you are a worthless nobody who lacks the ability to post anything that doesn't need the supervision of someone who isn't completely ignorant about the NFL or life in general. You brought up the word "delusion," but that applies to you even having the gall to address me. Don't post to me about anything. You have forfeited that right by posting one mind-numbingly stupid thing after another.
