HA! nice. Oh, that Abusive guy...what a douche.

Rachel Nichols needed a seat at the presser. There was one open beside me. I asked her to join me for some warm pleasantries about the media business. We ended up talking about Tiger Woods. It was what it was.

    Press room was interesting. Rivera/Newton/Smith.

what was she there reporting, though? I didn't catch that. Did she blink? I've heard she has blinked before, but nothing substantiated (and I really don't watch much ESPN).

I really think you looked over at me once or twice. Rain scattered fuckers around, they really didn't handle that well.

We melt in the rain, sir.

Nichols was cool. It's the whole ESPN-angle deal:

"Tell me how you feel now, in August, about your #1 pick?"
    "Talk about this QB competition?"

Kinda the shit that most educated fans should already know. She, personally, was very nice. Just the game ESPN plays.

I put a bunch of thoughts up somewhere, but absent that I can give a couple shell highlights:

Clausen more efficient, Newton more able and more willing deep. Clausen checked down a lot still, sucks because he has a decent deep ball and can fit this O. Newton still a little hit or miss short of ten yards. Other two guys barely threw. Offense - not just 88,89 - moves a lot. Some three person shifts out there, saw one that was a wholesale switch that started with Armanti at FB. Defense - moves a shitload too, some fakes in there. They didn't do much twisting and stunting yet as far as I could see though. They certainly will though.

DTs looked OK, S play was good, we're 5 deep there. No one distinguished at CB with top two in shorts. LB, good as always.

something I didn't say before, coverages are more varied obviously, saw a bit of c6 out there, interesting.
