having CJ back is nice. He didn't respond as well last year but has traditionally been decent when called on.

The Bucs opened free agency with $52 million of room, but all they have done is re-sign offensive linemen Davin Joseph and Jeremy Trueblood. Their only free-agent addition is punter Michael Koenen.

Someone said that the cash floor is league wide and not for individual teams until 2013, so the Bucs don't have to rush. They'll probably look to lock up a lot of their own talent as well. Hopefully they spend as much or more than the Panthers.

Interesting take on TB's big move

Was Davin Joseph worth his monster contract? Where does he rate amongst the other interior linemen in the league?

Joseph was one of the worst O linemen in the league, but the Bucs now have a new O line coach in Pat Morris. If Morris can get that line to block better (and they were the lowest ranked team in run blocking win rate last year), the Bucs could be much improved in that area.
