Traded to Milwaukee along with Shaun Livingston and the 19th pick for the 7th pick and Corey Magette. The Kings own the 7th pick currently, so they're involved too somehow.

I don't get that. Who at 7 is going to be better than Jackson?

Nobody, but I think this was another move to try to clear up some cap space instead of trying to be better next season.

Does Jackson really make that much more than what you'd have to pay the number 7 pick? Maybe they are expecting a much tighter rookie wage scale.

I just can't believe how far pro b-ball has fallen in Charlotte.

I think Jackson and Magette have similar contracts actually, so it's probably a wash really. That makes this a pretty puzzling deal all around, I'd say.

Maybe package 7 and 9 to get the number two slot? Or would that be enough?

picks 7 and 9 vs 9 and 19. the team is getting a younger.Still, I would rather have Jackson over Magette any day of the week. Cats lose Livingston as well. THey will probably take Thompson or Bimboyo(sp)and maybe another point guard. Jax and Magette make the same so there is no salary cut.

Looks like they are also considering Singleton at number 9. I would like that move.

Ric Bucher just said on Sportscenter that Stephen Jackson is unhappy with the trade and is telling people that he won't report to the Bucks.
