Now its official... Rivera is another Fox and knows even less about QB's. I do however like the coaching staff better overall...

Tony Pike not getting a lot of attention... he could still factor in eventually. He has a lot to work with and I'd be curious to see where he is after watching for a year

But Moore? I was kinda of shocked... maybe the owner is still on the cheap

Matt is not coming back. Some other team will pay him handsomely and give him a chance to be their #1 QB. Besides we have other FA's that are of higher priority.

it's not like Rivera hasn't settled on a quarterback, or that he's going to go wishy washy between a few. Veteran quarterbacking makes sense, I just think that player should have real experience as a starter from day 1 and success from it.

    Jake fits that criteria.

has anyone said "we wouldn't have gone 2-14 with Jake Delhomme" yet? I'm not, but I'm sure someone should.

Hurney's a fan. There's no way around that. Jake knows that offense too.

I'm surprised they've been so dismissive about Volek. That's the one that makes the most sense. They must know something we don't.

I still wouldn't mind bringing in Jake as a mentor. I'm not sure about him starting, but I think we could win more games with him than any other qb on our roster. If we don't bring in a vet my bet will be on us drafting first overall again next year.
