    I just noticed that the courts upheld the NFL's stay for the lockout. It just appers that this is going to be a long drawn out and nasty process. With that ....if we didn't have a season...or had a shortened one (most likely), and we ended up the the first overall pick again...what do we do?

    I am still intregued with Luck....would we take him and see how both QBs pan out? Or hang your hat on Newton and go a different route?

    While I have faith that Newton can be a good QB...I think Luck will be a great one. And I still believe that as long as things are going well..Newton witll be ok..but if things go south..he could be a negative disruption for the team.

    Just curious to see what everyone else is thinking.

    If Cam wins more games in the NFL next season than Luck does in the PAC 10, will you still be in love with Luck? Not me, until they win in the NFL they haven't proven anything. I'm not a Cam fan, but if he gets us to the playoff, I will be.

    I put this out there if there were NO season for Cam to get to the playoffs..or win any games...so in that sense he would still be unproven as well.

    what if there is never another nfl season and all this is folly fancypants and fiddlesticks? what if the ufl fills the void there and the usfl comes back into being again like was rumored a couple of years back? what if all we have is a return of australian rules football on espn just like it used to be?

    there will be some sort of season. we probably won't be in line for the top pick again. let's hope not anyway. and if there isn't a season then why would there be a draft anyway? free market all the way.
