You are reading what the newspapers want to write about because the average fan doesn't value a DT. All Homer the fan wants to read about is the QB, WR, RB - the exiting superstars. The Panthers have nothing to do with what the Observer prints. They are shoving Newton and Green down your throat because it sells papers and advertising.

 

I hope he steps up and picks Dareus. No, it's not as exciting as picking a QB but it would solidify the DL and make the DE's jobs a lot easier to get to the QB. Better rush on the QB and our secondary looks a lot better too.

I'm not ready to give up on Moore just yet, Clausen I'm not sure about. Maybe he'll step it up after an off season of looking at what he did wrong. With the schedule we have we have a decent chance of drafting early next season anyway so if the QB's don't improve we can go after another next draft.

If Hurney does pick Newton tho I'll be rooting for CM just like I did for Jake.

 

I think the questions are backwards, IMO it will take more balls to pass on QB.

That means passing over your publicly stated #1 need while looking at the roster and seeing Clausen atop the depth chart. And I think that's what he needs to do.
