I think Gabbert is still in the mix. We'll see when they each make their appearances in Charlotte, and who picked up that limited playbook in the short time they had.

I think they are trying to manufacture interest in one of the QBs so that someone will jump up to get him, and I don't think our price would be as high as it would be in most years. That would entice someone to jump up, I think, if they like someone. My fear is that nobody will bite, and that we'll be stuck picking first.

As far as Jimmy vs. either Cam or Blaine, both are taller than Jimmy, more athletic, and both seem to be better leaders than Jimmy. I don't think Cam or Blaine have that cocky stigma attached to them, which work in their favor. I think either of them will be better pros than Clausen. The Panthers seem to have put coaches in place to make sure a young QB develops.

Rivera talks glowingly about both Cam and Blaine, and hasn't said really anything positive about Clausen at all. He hasn't said anything about Moore, either.

Cam is cocky, and I imagine that he'll rub some guys the wrong way just like Vince Young or T.O. That said, in college all you really heard was how much teammates loved him, so who knows.

His teammates were all probably cocky, too. That's sort of the deal with anyone who makes it beyond HS football.

I don't think the worry is whether he's cocky.

Rod Woodson is in the HOF.... Enough said.... I'm not a Panther fan but they need to take the Best Player in the draft.... Yes, they need a QB but they Never have had a QB worth a shit imo.... Don't waste 1 on a couple 1 year wonders.... JMO..

i seems to me that Cam is the best option thus far. I think by drafting him we acquire a top notch talent and a top notch attention grabber for our team. It has been a long time since the Panthers have been a topic of conversation and I think that would be good for us. I am also drunk as I post this so, not ure what that says for this conversation..........

Winning games takes care of that. Build a better team and ticket sales and media coverage will follow. Sounds simple, but somehow I'm sure Richardson and Hurney will screw the pooch.
