    Seriously, if they dont gamble on Newton, what are they gonna do about QB?

    First thing Rivera talked about was getting a franchise guy.

    Bulger and Volek are better options, IMO, but Bulger might or might not make a full season.

    I really liked Volek, but that was the Volek of a few years ago. Haven't seen him play lately. Not opposed.

    Bulger, I thought was decent at one time but had the shit beat out of him over and over. I dunno, maybe.

    What about Trent Edwards? Has some familiarity with Shula with the Jags, should be a FA. Wasn't horrible with the Bills, still has plenty of tread left.
