I like Stanzi, mentioned him as a later round possibility before.

was in a pro style, seems to have all the tools. I don't know how high the ceiling is on him, he looks like an eventual starter but not a superstar. Deep arm not incredible, and can force a throw.

It's not as crazy as it sounds, but mainly because there are no great QBs in this draft. Anyone who takes one in the first round is nuts, but there are guys who can have success, especially if you put them in the right situation. For instance, I've noted that Mallett can be just fine in a Coryell-type offense as long as the team can reliably pass protect. If you can't, then Newton is your man. Stanzi, McElroy, and Kaepernick would all be nice picks in the middle rounds, but the Panthers really don't have picks to spare thanks to Hurney.

Looks awkward as fuck due to those long limbs, but he probably has less mechanical issues than Newton.

Charles Barkley's swing may have fewer mechanical issues.

Mallett's 40 doesn't change his mentality or tape, but it's a legitimate concern in this O if he can get to his drops fast enough.

What do ya'll think of Dalton (TCU QB)? Proven winner who may not have the strongest arm in the world but looked to me at least he can make the throws he needs to.

Gabbert reminds me of the asshole who was trying to take Bill Murray's job in Scrooged.
