The thing is Flacco and Ryan play OK on teams with good supporting casts especially for rookies and now the media has crowned them as elite QBs. I am not sure either of them is much more than game managers.

Matsko is decent. Good lines before this year.

Apparently Shula wasnt under contract... Makes me feel a bit better about speaking to him. Apparently dave's booster money allows him to work without necessarily having to stay because of contract. Still would prefer a better technician as coach but Bates is supposed to be tough to work with.

Thelt: Boldin was pure shit last week, and inconsistent all year, as was the much-coveted TJ Houshmanwithnotesticleshada.

I did not see the Ravens play much this year but Boldin was really good in Az. Maybe Warner got more out of him than Flacco?

Our last QB coach saw our decent QB (although erratic) fall off the edge of the earth, a young guy he had groomed to start all off season after an impressive finish to 2009 fall off the edge of the earth and a prized rookie play like his balls were made of egg shells. Lets hope the new guys is a lot better.

having had Ray Rice on my fantasy team, I can tell you what happened to the Ravens this year. They had a pass happy OC who neglected the run. With that kinda OLine, can you blame them for having protection problems? All the creative enery went into the passing game. At times the head coach had to come out and say "we've got to get back to running the ball and playing physical offensive football" or something like that. This guy became one of their scapegoats.

I had Rice the year before and did very well with him. I did not try to get him again this year though. I figured he would not see nearly as many touches since they acquired Boldin and Housh. I guess I was right. He went really high in both my leagues.

The Ravens would be smart to run the ball a lot. They have Rice and Mcgahee so they can pound people if they want. I think they got away from that because the though Flacco was the next great QB.

    McGahee is woefully inept.
