    I follow coaches yearly..not my first rodeo. Don't have a good feel for Jay though. What do people know pn him?

    great... they're hiring a guy specifically to coach up Clausen, that's sad sign

    besides, he's had a QB coach since he was 10... he still sucks

    To be honest? All I know is from watching arena games. :p But I saw a lot of them, and he was always commanding, fiery, and it was always talked about how his offenses were so much better than most, and how respected he was, and why wasn't he in the NFL. That was a ways ago.

    Plus? Being brothers with another great offensive mind can't hurt, either.

    Jay Gruden apparently is not being hired by Carolina...Jim Gruden told Darin the Panthers were going in a different direction.

    I'm betting its the OC position, and I dont know that I'd want Jay as OC anyways. QB coach is one thing.
