Cower and Gruden

    These names are always the first ones dumped out there for coaching vacancies, but they never get hired (or even interview) anywhere. Especially Cowher.
    Since there were 100 jobs available this year, and these two are no-shows again, where do they end up, if ever ? I'm guessing TV for life.

    Edit: See, Cowher's been gone so long I forgot how to spell his name.

    I suspect they let teams know behind the scenes whether they are interested or not. Right now they must not be.

    I heard Cowher wasn't wanting to get back in this year, recently lost his wife and didn't want to be away from his kids as much as he'd have to be coaching.

    I hear that Gruden just likes what he's doing. He hasn't lost a game in two years. Cowher wants just the right situation and power over personnel. There aren't a lot of those situations available and he can afford to wait.
