have either chosen to come out?

Since almost no one's talked about them, here's what we know.

Fairley, Auburn, 6'5, 298. Lombardi Award winner, to the best lineman/linebacker. Two year player at Auburn, transferring from JUCO. So there's not a ton of tape on him.

Dareus, Alabama, 6'3, 309. Translates best to a 4-3 DT, but played 3-4 DE. May also fit in a one-gap 3-4. Got notoriety this year for being investigated partying with an agent in Miami.

Neither won Outland trophy (best interior lineman, which went to OT Cimini, from Wisconsin).

I wouldn't expect Fairley to make an announcement until after the bowl game.

Fairley is a monster from the Auburn games I've seen. Also play more than a little on the edge of being a little dirty. Not that I have anything against that in a DL.

It sucks to be considering either of them with the #1 overall pick.

Have to have someone willing to trade with you to do that. Who is going to want the number 1 overall pick when there is no player really worthy of being a #1? Unless some player steps up big time in the combine I don't see anyway we get to trade out of it. Of course you can never discount some GM getting a wild hair to go after it but I don't see that happening.

Maybe some one will get a boner for Green or Newton and be willing to trade up. I would love to move down a few spots in the first in exchange for a second round pick. That would repair some of the damage done by last year's crazy trade for Edwards.
