    The other guys at least deserve mention, this guy might not even be the best DC we could get for our hire. I guess I'm a Rivera guy.

    Rivera has been interviewed for several positions. Has this been more of a Rooney rule requirement interview or is he ready. JR loves the DC types I hope whomever we decide on has the good sense to get a OC worth a shit. Jeff Davidson probably won't ever sniff a OC job again

    True they do deserve mention and attention. And true Manusky probably isn't the best DC we could hire. But we aren't interviewing for DC right now. Or at least I don't think we are. I realize that getting a DC as a Head Coach is going to have a major impact on the D. But just as Meeks is apparently a better DC than HC candidate maybe Manusky is a better HC than DC. And maybe he would hire whoever the best DC available is to be our DC. Not saying that this is the case but worth keeping in mind. Or not.

    And no, no, no to Manusky. Actually, I'm surprised you guys aren't all over someone mentioned just in passing - Josh McDaniels. He made some dumb personnel decisions, but I think that guy is going to win multiple playoff games as a head coach during his career, and I'd be glad to have him in Carolina.


    As for Morris, he doesn't even know why he's winning. Remember that Tampa had the easiest schedule in the league this season, and the only winning team they beat came when New Orleans had nothing left to play for. Freeman is a good looking young quarterback, but he's not the second coming. They're another organization like the Falcons who has done a good job of assembling smaller pieces which make the whole that much better. Plus, guys like Talib & Winslow are legitimate talents. I am hoping that Mike Williams snaps and kills someone, though.

    I've thought about McDaniels but not as a HC, he really did mess some things up out there. Of course on the other hand, no way he'd get that chance here. LOVE to have him as an OC.
