    Heck, we have needed DT for 3 years and haven't drafted one early. Hurney will take the QB.. He will hear if for 4 months. Don't draft Clausen and then trade a second for Edwards and then turn around and compound your screw ups by passing on the next Manning. Nobody is that stupid. Besides, the new coach will be screaming for Luck, not trying to save face.

    First time I've seen him play but I'm not seeing the best qb in a decade - maybe it's just not a great half or VT's D is playing great.

    With Denver sitting at #2, and Elway there tonight falling love with his Stanford boy Luck, I could see them offering us something to switch spots, maybe Orton and a 2nd.

    Sounds reasonable to me. Depends on if we really covet Luck.

    We'd have Orton to bring along Clausen, the #2 (Fairley?), and a high pick in the 2nd right?

    Its not how you start, but how you finish. That second half Luck threw for more yards than Clausen has for any game this season.
