Do we know what time the press conference is set for and if it will be televised outside the local area (NFL Network)?

Also, several have suggested maybe this is the announcement of hiring Harbaugh. If that was the case, he would have already had to have talked to him and worked something out before now. Would that break any rules since Stanford is still playing, or does that rule only affect NFL coaches?

I heard from a pretty good source that he's announcing the hiring of Michael Haywood.

Great Article. The back end of the all time winningest coach at the time was only $2.5 million per year. You couldn't hire Danny Crossman for that today.

    Quote from seifert when fired:

"I have no regrets coming back into coaching. The support group here is as great as any place," he said. "This is a great job, and guys should be banging down the doors trying to get this job.

I agree with that last part. Great owner, great town. All was great here right until 2008 playoff disaster. Maybe what changed was Foxy.

Yes it does. Timing wise I'm not sure about but when Kasay does retire I bet that JR is standing right next to him.

i guess so... only because he's the only one left from the original team and a model player

Didn't Richardson speak at Rucker or Minter's retirement?
