    Elway is going to be running the show out there and there is that Stanford connection. If that happens then maybe we can get a sweet deal from the Broncos to swap picks. We move down one slot in the first round so they can draft Luck and reunite him with Harbaugh. We get a bunch of picks and or players in return.

    I personally think we have about 5-7 needs and don't need more picks than the draft and cap(?) room will provide. I think if we pass on Luck we will hate it for 12 years. I think if we draft Luck, so many others will get better.

    Thread title is misleading. No deals struck between the Broncos and Harbaugh at this point.

    Elway is supposed to be promoted later in the week to a position that would allow him to hire the next HC for the Broncos... Elway is from Stanford


    In other news.... Harbaugh to Michigan fell apart over the weekend... noone knows why

    Shefter:
    End of Harbaugh's reign--big decision in 24-48 hours--SF putting full court press, Denver as well. Could be other teams as well. Michigan bypassed Harbaugh in 2004. Why he is leaning NFL. NFL Gives him what he wants with structure and pay.

    Mortenson--At Michigan you get 25 first round picks. In the NFL you get 1. (Stupid comment)
