    Somebody has to say it...

Selling team. When football resumes in 2012 it will do so with the California Panthers.

No, I don't think that is what is going to happen.

Grimm as coach if I had to bet.

Oh well, it's the most panties in a wad interested I've been in a while. I wish he would have said it was scheduled fro a week from Tuesday and play it out some.

Yeah, I think it will just be an apology for screwing us out of our money this season and a promise to stop screwing us as soon as they get a better team. Yay!! :icon16:

Not major, and doesn't really jive with Kasay's post game comments yesterday. Not to say I would complain about him retiring. I would complain about that being termed 'major' though.

    Go McJeff.

I think this would have leaked somewhere if the team was being sold.

would be funny as hell if they introduce Cowher as the coach/gm, just from the standpoint that all the media-types have been adamant that he won't come here.

I was just getting a Cowher feeling, as far as what major announcement could come this quickly. Interview Rivera in the AM, announce Cowher HC or ditch Hurney, announce Cowher as new walking boss, HC to be determined. That would be some wild shit.

Concerning selling the team: No blackouts in Charlotte during a 2-14 season. It would contradict the letter he sent out 2-3 weeks ago.

Fox spoke about this has been in the works "for a couple years". He's known he wouldn't come back. It's been speculated that he had opportunities to take other jobs and didn't want them ... so it's not a far stretch to think that the Panthers have been in contact with a guy like Cowher (or some other out of work coach) who they didn't have to wait to interview.

saying what he said in a letter earlier this year or talking about Fox leaving or talking about interviewing a coach is hardly of major importance...

annoucing the team is for sale, announcing the hiring of a coach... those things would qualify

The amazing part about something like that would not be it happening, but that it was not discovered and leaked.
