Silas is a good coach. It will be interesting to see how the team responds to this. Those Hornet teams with Mason, Rice, Divac, Gieger and Mugsy were pretty good.

silas wasn't hc till the eddie jones years.

i've always liked silas. wonder who he'll get on his staff. normally he takes his son with him, but i think he's an assistant elsewhere (golden state a few years back, not sure now).

Silas' son is still with the Warriors. They were saying on tv tonight that this is definitely just a rest of the season deal with Silas, so I don't think his son would give up the sure thing for the chance to work with Dad again.

The Cowens years run together with his for me. They still had some good teams over those years.

Ok, MJ finally made a move that made sense, even if it were LB quiting.

Talking about bringing Baron Davis back to Charlotte. The deal would be DJ, Diop and Carroll for Baron. That would probably help the team out. I am not sure how much Baron has left but he should be able to run the team much better than DJ.

Bringing Baron back while keeping Jack and Wallace would be fun. Baron and Jack also had success in Golden State I think?

Those three guys would be pretty exciting. If we do that and can go small by putting Diaw at the 5 and Thomas at the 4 then we could probably do very well against most teams that do not have a good big man.
