    Seattle still hasn't built an arena, and shows no interest in doing so.

    I'd guess the league would be willing to spend a couple of seasons holding the team trying to get a local buyer to keep in down there. If they did move, Kansas City is probably where they'd wind up.

    I wonder if Shinn would have sold the team to MJ back when he offered if he knew how it was all going to end? It might be a whole different dynamic today if he had.

    give that team to KC and let the Hornet name return to Charlotte. Anything but the name bobcats. I know MJ already has a group looking into renaming/branding the team,even before the news of the Hornet sale

    I think the name Hornets carries too much baggage these days for Charlotte to use it. It should just die if the new owner of the team doesn't want to keep it.
