    I agree. I don't know how it compares to other cities, but dog ownership is a huge deal in Charlotte. It seems like everyone either has a dog or has a strong affinity for dogs. So signing a convicted dog killer would have been a crippling PR disaster.


    Putting that aside, the hype he's getting right now is completely justified. I don't know how anyone is going to stop this.

    Yeah, because god forbid the panthers have any off-field embarrassments.

    I'll second this sentiment but add that hope he suffers a debilitating brain injury that causes him to become a drooling paraplegic the rest of his life. Or, just gets hit by a truck and dies.
