I went OL but really it's a combination of things. But the lack of a running is the problem IMO.

 

It starts with Richardson. He went cheap with players AND left John Fox as a lame duck coach. Both of those got the ball rolling. The lame duck coach issue could've been resolved either by resigning or releasing. With Fox in that position you have a coach that isn't happy with the organization and doesn't give a damn. The no players issue left the team without many former veteran leaders and relatively thin on talent. With that thin talent added to the injuries as mentioned, the team is very bad. You have a weakened O-Line, and a weakened LB corps. Both of which were originally considered strengths of the team. When your team has no real "strengths" its not going to win much.

PS- Jeff Davidson sucks.

Seems to be a major contributor to our running and passing woes.

 

The problem with blaming the OL is that Gross, Wharton and Kalil have been considered very good for a while. The right side has been hit with injuries. If Otah ever comes back it should solidify the OL. When you have a QB who can not even manage the game then it makes the whole offense look bad. We probably have the worst starting QB in the league and have had him all year. I really think that any other starting QB in the NFL could come here and start and be more successful than what we have seen from our guys this year.

The rbs can`t seem to find a hole and the qbs for the most part are running for their lives. The Panthers offense is so bad that an offside or holding penalty has been a drive terminator.

 

Fucking Otah. Simple surgery everyone comes back from in weeks.

 

I say OLine is the biggest reason, but the coaching has to take a large secondary role.

Having been a big Fox supporter through the mediocre years, I wake up every morning turning on NFL network waiting for the news he's been fired. I wouldn't mind the record if it looked like we were just outplayed, but we look totally unprepared.
