Also sounds like a good gig for the present owner, too.

And one son quit, and everybody in the organization knew he was leaving for a while. The other one was getting the big head while papa was laid up with a bad ticker. That changed when Daddy repossessed the keys to the car.

And "Daddy" is leading the owners' group as it works to leverage the new CBA. Everything Richardson's done up to this point has been about the CBA, not to position the franchise for a sale.

Wonder if I'll get my PSL money back if they sell the team and they leave town.

It'd be awesome. I don't recall them being football people, though.

Not being football people might be a good thing, they might actually let people have fun inside the stadium. They can always hire football people to run the team.

JR could be positioning for the CBA, but his age, factor in that most transplant patients average about 6 years, his son's our out of the organization. A president is place he could sell to the Levines. I don't know what the team is valued at but the Levines give away a ton of money to alot of different causes.

if they're local, have business ties here, and charity ties here, what would they really gain by moving a franchise? They enjoy uncharacteristic, ironic villainy?

Hey I'm all for the Panthers staying in Charlotte... but damn we suck. If the new agreement goes down like baseball, it'll be like baseball, where the larger markets are more likely to compete... our teams and payroll will look a lot like it does right now.... forever.
