Few running backs do. Shitassiness seems to mostly be a WR domain and not just in the Carolinas.

    No.
Steve had a terrible game, and still had 85 yds.

And he apologized for his shittiness.

Did I miss something? Did Steve punch out a teammate last night on the flight home?

its sort of hard to break loose when (with the exception of 1 game this season), the secondary only has to focus on one player. i think because of that and the limited opportunities he expects to see per game he is just trying to do to much.

I think its closer to this. Smitty needs to concentrate on Smitty and not worry about trying to carry the team because even his punt returning is very indecisive.

You have hit the nail dead on the head. This was what I have been feeling, but could not get it out right!

It's simply O-line and blocking. How many 8 man fronts did we face last year? Last year, we would run at an 8 man front and not worry about it. Now we're having problems opening holes and keeping defenders off the QB.

Clausen is going to be a good QB, but he is still a rookie. I like what we have in the receivers and they are slowly staring to come around. Already they're looking better than Jarrett.

We still need a better DT, depth at OL. I mentioned not to be overly optimistic about the win vs SF because they suck. On the other hand, the Rams are playing good ball this year. Don't be overly pessimistic.

Too bad we can't pick up Randy Moss. He's not any more thuggish than Owens, Ochocinco, or Smith, and better than any of them, except not sure if any of our QB's would be able to throw the ball far enough to get it to him.
