that and some qb hurries, drawing holding calls, ints, pass deflects, blocked fg's... he's playing pretty good actually

I see some 3-4 DL and 4-3 DTs that have more sacks. I mean, that's fine, sacks aren't everything, but there are guys that have 3, 4 times that number and aren't half the player.

I recall watching a Chicago game and watching Pep getting a couple holding calls and I couldnt help but think he wouldnt get that call if he was playing for us in Carolina.

My impression without having seen as much of him as everyone else is he doesn't put the team on his shoulders and carry them. He doesn't often takeover a game when it's on the line. He's invisible a lot. He's damn good, of course, but to be worth $20 million a year, you've got to do more. He just teases you with all that talent.

I am not missing him. I think we made the right call in letting him walk. It would have been nice to get something for him but our D is going to be fine without him.

I just wish we had taken that $20 million we saved by letting him walk and used it to make our offense better.

yeah letting him go wasnt a sign of being cheap, it was a brilliant football move. he is probably one of the most overpaid players in the league.
