    What does any NFL roster gain by having him? I'd straight up take Armati Edwards at QB before I would David Carr and that's really not saying much. There HAS to be someone available that's better. I'm not even saying that person would be "good" but they've got to be better than Carr.

    Carr plays well in practice (no contact) and is smart enough to do well in the meeting room stuff, he just can't translate it onto the field. Todd Bouman is in the same class.

    The 49ers fans behind us weren't concerned when Carr came in even though we told them he had played for us (they didn't know that) and was awful. Needless to say, Carr had them agreeing with us before long. Of course the Panther fan behind us said "Well, he was on our roster, saying he played for us is a stretch"
