Good news, bad news

Good news - Dallas lost (that's always good news to me), making them 1-4, and Detroit lost, making them 1-5, meaning we're only 1 game behind those teams in the NFC.

Bad news - looks like we'll be the only team left with 0 wins, looks like the Niners are gonna beat the Raiders.

Atlanta and Bucs both lost. Too bad we suck worse than them.

Well I guess this comment goes on a "Good news,bad news" thread,,,,,,,,,, because the fact is, forget about Dallas, Detroit and San Fran being 1 and whatever, because those teams will win more games before the season ends. The bottomline is we are now playing for the 1st overall pick in the next NFL draft.

I just hope we have a new coaching staff who will be making that crucial pick.

 

Good news, we didn't trade the '11 1st for some mid second rounder.

When we've had a first we've done well. Let these guys pick, let the new people coach them.

 

Of course I'm happy with us obtaining Otah; however, I do believe that our recent trend of trading away future top picks in order to gain more picks NOW, is a direct correlation with our current coaching staff's desperation to win NOW. And thats ok if you give away a 1, and get a 1 in return,,,,,,, but when you start giving away 1's, and only get a 2, then you are showing your true desperation.

 

I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to screw that up, we can stll trade it away.

 

Just think, we TRIED to do this to move up and get Clausen. Just think how we would be feeling if that had occurred.
