Random Shots

A bird was able to get in and out of our garage this past summer and she(?) built a nest and laid some eggs in it on some shelves I have. Around the time the chicks hatched is when we got our new D80 and I was playing around learning about changing from Black & White, so I used them as a guineas chick.

I didn't disturb the next, but it was a little tricky standing on a bucket trying not to disturb the nest and take these shots. About the time I was done the mother came in and shewed me away.



This bird bath was taken right outside the old Smithsonian building in Washington.

Not a professional photographer by any means but this has been my favorite photo for a while.

The Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas in downtown Lima, Peru.

 

Nice.
In Peru, I guess a blond person would stick out like a white sheet at a black panther meeting.

 

Especially a 6'2" blond person. Never had any problems though.

BTW, that fountain in the pic is older than the USA.

 

That church behind it looks like it has some history as well.
