Want to see what having an "experienced" Qb means THIS week??

Matt Moore sucked ass today, and I'm all for starting Clausen or Pike - but look at what the "elite" QB's on the NFL did today. Other than Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers - Rodgers not even that long a starter- wow, we should definitely get a veteran backup in case one of our "starters" gets hurt. LMFAO :dunce:

We suck like I said but I am in favor of starting the big Pickle the rest of the season and win or lose I think we get more "w"s from Clausen than Moore. :46:

I would take Brady, Eli or McNabb right now.

Yeah but since we're obviously not getting any of those guys we might as well start Clausen before the whole season is shit canned and if he shit cans it, so be it. Moore is awful.

Did I miss something? Seneca Wallace and Kerry Collins are 'elite'?

I am not sure what all those numbers are, but McNabb had a huge day and was basically all the offense for the Redskins.

I just got them off the box scores for the games - I didn't mean they were "elite", people were just saying we needed to bring in an available "vet" when Moore got hurt, but there's really nobody out there that's available that would be any better than Clausen or even Pike, in my book.

generally speaking you do not find a good QB who is available after week two of the regular season.... We could have probably got McNabb if we had desired. We would likely be 2-0 right now and thinking playoffs if we had.

I think most QB's would have trouble given the general (and some very specific) lack of execution from a lot of our other 21; I doubt we'd be 2-0. We really should have been 1-1 with what we have.
