I have to say that I can't disagree with anything he says about Fox at this point.

I think this quote from the article says a lot about what's probably going on...

It's over, isn't it? I mean really over. Blow it up and rebuild it, over.

    This sucks.

I guess Fox got the memo since Clausen is starting. It does look like this era in Panther football is ending. It is sad because this has been the best run in the franchise history. Granted it is a short history but still it was a nice run. I still think Fox is a good coach and will likely be successful where ever he goes when he leaves here.

Despite some struggles this year I think Meeks is pretty solid so I would not mind seeing him stay on as DC under a new HC. Maybe we find a solid offensive minded guy who can make the most of Clausen. If he is really a franchise QB then we need to build around him. Hopefully we will find out over the next 14 weeks.

Well, its a decision that was made in the offseason. Play out your contract, John, and you'll be few million richer. But don't ask for any help. Just walk the plank, because I don't want to have to pay your salary and someone else.

It was hard for me to get excited about this season. Its not a rebuild season. We just tore down. We are on pause.

I'm not sad for Fox, he's got a nice paycheck, and will get another paycheck this season. But its sad as a Panther fan, because we are going through a season as the Kansas City Royals.

I still think he will find a way to squeeze out 7 wins.

They better learn to score...tackle....block....run routes....cover.....

Except for those, we look ok.

just for discussion, where do the 7 wins come?

with no pass rush, anemic offense, leaky protection and general shoddiness, there are a couple of teams on that schedule that we might beat.

i shudder to think what brees puts up against us with 0 pass rush and a secondary that loves to be out of position.
