    It might be better for him and the team for us to trade him. He could go to a contender and we could get some draft picks or something for him.

    He and Beason are the only fun players to watch on this team. The RBs are sometimes fun, but many times not. Not saying its their fault. But if Smitty goes, would any fans come to the games?

    He's lost the PASSION. Wants to retire a Panther, raise the kids in Charlotte, flash the new orthodontic smile and fade into the twilight.

    Sad really. Where is the icey hot.

    Smitty is playing well and hard, one of the few, and showing the young guys how its done. Only TDs so far this season are from 89.

    Why trade him now? We'd need to find a number 1 and number 2 and I'd say his trade value has declined a bit. You trade something you have too much of for something you need. I'd much rather see a RB go than our one WR. Between Willaims, Stewart and Goodson we could probably get a nice trade there for one guy and still have 2 good backs.
