Unless my memory is failing me, we had one good year with the 3-4 (96) and never got the right set of players to make it work again.

Jesus - 1 game and the season is over? What happens if we win Sunday? I'm usually a bigger pessimist than most but I'm not ready to flush the season down the drain yet. If it looks like we're not trying out there after a few more games and it looks like we're not going to try to adjust at all, yeah, but the D still looks good and we might be able to pull out a win against TAMPA, sometimes 1 game can get you going. Not quite ready to sell the team and have no football here anymore.

I'm sure my memory is failing me . . . but it's been long enough that I sincerely can't remember what year(s) this D attacked as apposed to sagging until it's backed into the redzone and is forced into the cornered mentality, relying on a short enough field for it to cover.

2003 under DelRio was one of the best D years besides '96. I don't know if statistically it was better, but it seemed that way, and not just because it was a SB year.

Back in the days before John Fox we had one winning season and one playoff appearance. Having an attacking 3-4 or a nice passing game does not mean much if you are not winning. I will take winning boring football over exciting losing football every time.

Pretty amazing that DelRio was able to coordinate our defense and coach the Jaguars, that must've made opening day pretty fucking tricky tho

The worst season we have had under Fox was 7-9. We have a winning record under him including three playoff appearances. It is a lot better than it was before he got here. We never had a solid OL or running game before he got here.
