Judge Moore on his whole body of work Not just one game. Especially when the run game wasn't utilized. How quickly we forget how everyone what screaming for Jake to be benched and brin in Moore and then he went what 3-1 with a 90something QB rating... Why did he look good ??? In large part because they RAN THE BALL!

Hopefully Claussen doesn't make any sudden turns. I'd hate for you to end up with a broken neck.

Not saying he won't ever be good, but GEEZ 1 game is awful early to be saying Moore sucks. He made some bad decisions, but its a whole new situation he's stepping in to.

If you really like Clausen you will not keep insisting he be thrown to the wolves behind that OL.

Whether it is Moore or Claussen their job is to hand the ball off most of the time and then force it to Smith ocassionally and hope he makes a great play. If we can not run the ball effectively and we are giving up big plays on defense then we are not going to win many games. Lets at least see how Moore does against Tampa before we put in the rookie.

That's kind of my point. It wasn't a dig on Clausen, just that Moore needs some benefit of the doubt. He was getting pummelled out there by just horrid offensive line play. Clausen going in isn't necessarily going to change the whole team play at this point.

I am on board with him.

Walk in his shoes. The WRs are not getting open. THe line is not blocking. The offensive coordinator is not helping one little bit with his formations and play calling. You are in a hostile environment and it is raining.

You are nervous because you have been waiting for 3 years to show everyone that you are ready . Never respected as a college player (not drafted), cut, then never respected by the team you play for, and listed as the 3rd string QB for most of the year, you somehow survived the purging of QBs in Charlotte over the time you have been here. Then, suddenly, #1 and #2 are gone, you step in, and win 4 games in 5 chances down the stretch, after going 2-1 in a similar situation during your rookie year.

Then a top 15 talent, a QB, slips into the second round of the draft and your team picks him. Clausen jerseys sell like crazy, and everyone in the nation assumes he will be the starter. The team is consistent, still showing no confidence in the QB who has won 75% of the games he has started while working with the third team in practice 75% of the time or more that he has been here.

He tried to make plays in New York. He tried to lead the WRs to the open parts of the field. He had no blocking and no run game supporting him. His OC is out to lunch and his HC is a lame duck. There is nobody open, and the Giants kept coming. He never has a chance.

I am still on board with Matt Moore, and I suggest that his teammates and coaches do the same.
