My 14 year old son spoke to him Saturday at the AAU girls NC state championships. Said he was "most likely" playing in Carolina this year. When asked what he thought about the Clausen pick he said he was hoping for McCoy. Class guy who took time to talk to my kid.

 

I don't doubt it, in terms of him coming back for another year. I don't think the kid from Baylor makes the team, and I would be shocked if Jarrett isn't cut. Lafell, Edwards will be active on a rotation, I would assume.

Depth is a good problem to have. Charly Martin was an animal on coverage, so I'd hate to lose him, but sometimes it's numbers.

 

Well I hope he is brought back in some type of role for the team. I would like to see him retire here.

 

For what its worth, he said the same thing to my father right before he signed with Chicago. Might turn out that he returns, but it might also be an concise answer to a question he doesn't want to get into.

 

MM will not be back. He IS a class act, he IS a good role model for the younger players, but he IS NOT able to get separation anymore. A lot of his catches last year were underneath for 6 yards on a 3rd and 9. I think that Jarrett will be given another shot but if he don't step up he's cut before camp is over. I look for every wr drafted to make the roster.
