The point of the personal conduct policy is to make the league look good, it's not about fairness or justice. For some reason the NFL doesn't want to look like it supports rapists. weird.

    what rape?

not a pittsburgh fan but if they don't have enough evidence to even try to press charges, how does the NFL convict without trial... by what they read in the papers? do you think goodell even had an interview with the whore in question?

    doesn't add up

I like how you call the victim the whore, that's a nice touch.

You really don't understand how this works? The NFL is worried about what the public will 'read in the papers' or see in a blurb on ESPN so they have to look like they won't stand for this. It's all about perception, it doesn't have to add up if you look at the details since most people don't look at them in the first place (though from the DA's report the details are pretty sad).

What doesn't add up? The NFL, just like any othe employer, can dicipline their employees without a conviction.

whore in question... that's basically what the prosecuter is calling her by saying there is not enough evidence

somethings not right is my point... the NFL seems to think there's enough evidence...

here's the police reports and statements

NFLN reports Ben is getting traded... they want to move up in the draft to replace him... wonder if the Rams will trade?
