I took in the final practice round of the Masters in Augusta today. TV doesn't do justice to how far those pro's can hit a golf ball. Tiger looked great but Phil Mickleson struggled all day. Great day of golf but damn was it hot down there in Georgia.

I've been there about a half dozen times and it's a wonder to see. The greenest grass on earth and TV, even in HD can't show how incredible the experience is. Years ago you could just show up Monday-Wednesday but now you must get in a lottery. I made it to a weekend round once because I told them I was Tiger's caucasian brother.

It was unbelievable. Every time a breeze would blow a cloud of yellow would come with it. When we left every car in the parking lot was solid yellow.

He didn't text from the course. They won't let you take a cell phone past the entrance gates. That sucked. I wanted to text everyone when I was standing under the big Masters board.

I pretty much figured that with all the pine trees there. I'm hoping it storms tonight after play finishes, and washes some of it out of there.

I drove through Columbia on Monday and it was a yellow haze. I thought there was a fire somewhere in the distance that was causing it until I realized it was the pollen pouring off the trees. Crazy.
