technically they're right. Campbell is the type player we'd need. Not too established that he's just "expected" to start. Can push Moore for the starters role, but if he doesn't win it wouldn't necessarily cause problems. Basically I'd consider Moore and Campbell on equal footing and winner leaves camp the starter.

I would rather not have a competitor to Moore in camp. I think that might undermine his confidence. I would rather have a veteran guy who is clearly a back up than to have a competition.

They could copy and paste that same passage with a fair amount of the backup QBs in the league replacing Campbell and it would be just as accurate.

"Carolina is another team to keep an eye on, as the Panthers have yet to settle their QB situation, and a hardworking, less flashy guy like Gradkowski...."

Winning a competition could help his confidence, and maybe keep him from Cutler-ing shit up knowing he is unbenchable.

King thinks Cambell could be had for a 5th. A fourth to me would be ok. We need another QB, be it a veteran or a rookie, and going with a vet would give some experience.

He's making 600K more than Moore we can get a sign and trade on his tender.
