I've seen Damian Williams as a potential pick for the Panthers in the second. I have real reservations in taking another USC WR. Hopefully this one would work

So we should try to take Thomas because Calvin Johnson is a good player?

potentially 4-6 WR's get drafted before we pick, Arrilious Benn, Brandon LaFell, Golden Tate, and Dez Bryant won't be there for sure...

so that leaves Damian Williams & Mardy Gilyard as the top two possibles, I like Gilyard because he's also a KR/PR... can serve an immediate need and free up an extra roster spot, but if gone, I would take Williams...

I don't see another WR I'd use our 2nd round pick on

Williams can return punts, too, I like him better than Gilyard as a receiver.

Deymarius Thomas from GTech won't be there. Lafell might be there. He's not exactly what we need. Slow, pseudophysical.
Gilyard is dropping, he's just not that great of a WR apparently.
Not so sure about Damian Williams, can't imagine us dipping into USC again.
    Taylor Price anybody?

yeah he can return punts, but why do you like hime better? I'm starting to wonder why Williams is even ranked higher than Gilyard...

Better route running, better hands, higher upside.

i don't have any confidence in us picking from that next-tier of wr guys, and i don't know that any of them would be a day 1 starter. not that we should pick tebow, but maybe it wouldn't be a waste. i don't think i can say that about a wr there.

and the pro-tebow contigent would reply...

    kosar threw it funny.
    he's got the intangibles.
he's been a leader and winner everywhere.

and fox seems to be on that bandwagon now.
