    They tell who is playing who (and where) the day after the regular season ends but they don't finalize the actual dates until june.

    Neil Hayes, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Chicago Bears are close to signing unrestricted free-agent DE Julius Peppers (Panthers) to what is expected to be a six-year deal that would pay him around $12-$14 million a season with the first three years guaranteed, according to a source.
