he's got a name to belie his hype, but sure, I wouldn't be dead set against that.

I'd prefer a smaller DT than that, though. I honestly think Cody could be a starter NT, but for that slot you'd expect a guy who could help in both roles.

they have him at combine at 354 instead of 370, so he's lost weight. The downside is that he allowed himself to show up at Senior Bowl, another huge scouting opportunity, so fat.

He probably goes to a team that runs a 3-4 and plays NT. A team like us that runs a 4-3 will only see him as a two down player and that will limit his value. I would not be upset with the pick but I am not rooting for it either. My hope is that one of the top WRs drop. Invariably we will not take a WR with our first pick we never seem to draft for our biggest need.

Cody is a major reach IMO. You wonder about how motivated he is when he shows up at the Senior Bowl looking like a Sumo Wrestler.

Id be cool with that! Im thinking we're gonna release big Kimo pretty soon so we'll need another run plugger inside!

GBN has Brandon Lafell rated lower than Cody. I would rather have Lafell....

This is what I'm hoping for, too -- assuming the right guy is there. I'm pretty much done with big school guys, though. Gimme a small school guy who's used to fighting and scratching for everything he gets.
