While that was true earlier in the decade, not so much recently.

The Jets made a nice run this year, but when is the last time you remember any other AFCE team coming close to a SB? Miami hasn't won a playoff game since 2000. Buffalo? New England has a great body of work regardless, but the overall strength of the other three teams in that division is pretty crappy.

That's one way to look at it. Another is that had Indy never been removed from the AFC East, New England might not have won three championships. At the very least, you have to concede that monopolizing that division over the last decade would have been much more difficult.

    Tell that to the Bills.

So the Jets an Miami split a couple times late in the decade. One year was without Brady so I would say, in general, my statement was pretty accurate.

Maybe. Maybe Indy doesn't win any. Who knows.

Sure, but they still play Indy every year (once instead of twice) and during the superbowl runs, they owned Indy in the regular season games.
